What data is processed, and why
Contact and booking data. When you call, write on WhatsApp or email to book an appointment, the details you provide — typically your name, phone number and the content of your message — are used only to schedule, manage or reschedule your appointment and to reply to your request. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to and as part of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Health information. Anything you share about your symptoms or health, before or during treatment, is used exclusively to assess and provide safe, appropriate osteopathic care, and is treated as strictly confidential. Legal basis: provision of health care by a professional bound by confidentiality (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR). Clinical notes are kept as required by professional rules.
Technical website data. The hosting provider automatically records short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and requested pages) to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies and uses no tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner: none is required.
The only item stored is a technical preference in your browser ("theme") if you switch between light and dark mode. It contains no personal data and is exempt from consent.
The Google map on the contact page loads only after you press "Load map". From that moment Google may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. If you prefer not to load it, use the directions link instead.
WhatsApp and phone
If you contact the practice via WhatsApp, your message is transmitted by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), which processes data under its own privacy policy, possibly outside the EU. You are welcome to keep messages to scheduling only and share health details in person.
How long data is kept
Booking and contact data are kept only as long as needed to manage your appointments, then deleted. Clinical documentation is retained for the periods required by law and professional obligations. Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period.
Who receives your data
Your data is never sold and never used for marketing. It is shared only with the technical providers needed to run this website (hosting) and the communication services you choose to use (e.g. WhatsApp). No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability, object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent given, by contacting the practice with the details above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority — Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it — or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
